DANIEL HECHT

A guitarist recording on the Windham Hill label for two decades, Hecht became a successful novelist in the late 1980s with a series of literary thrillers. His two most recent books, "City of Masks" and "Land of Echoes" both feature parapsychologist detective Cree Black, and are set respectively in                    New Orleans and Navajo country.
